Elements of life
Being Polite
I walked with a friend to the news stand the other night, and he bought a paper, thanking the owner politely. The owner, however, did not even acknowledge it.
"A sullen fellow, isn't he?" I commented as we walked away.
"Oh, he's that way every night," shrugged my friend.
"Then why do you continue being so polite to him?" I asked.
And my friend replied, "Why should I let him determine how I'm going to act?"
That best portion of human's life is the little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.

element14csr---Indeed helping the Blinds
Indeed, the history is - few from element14India CSR team ( formerly Farnell electronics India pvt ltd) had individually contributed donation to Mr. Manjunath who is eventually a blind person, and helped him to start his tea business.
As a step forward, we helped him to grow his business. Manjunath with his group would be selling tea pack of 250 grams which costs Rs. 45/- each of us certainly helped him by buying those tea packs and many of us individually contributed donation when they came to office on 24th November 2010 .
A group of blind people performed a small cultural activity at our office.

We India Literacy Project (ILP) conducted a 2 day nature and adventure camp for the our scholarship children at Guru Freddy's Nature Awareness & Adventure Academy on the 23rd and 24th of October 2010.
Totally 47 children (In that 32 from Magadi and 15 from Yeshwanthpura, Bangalore Urban) and 7 staff and Volunteers participated in the camp and took part in trekking (6 kms), cave exploration, rock climbing, rappling, river crossing and a variety of obstacle crossing exercises - including crossing an 8-feet wall, long jump, tarzan swing, tyre crossing, crawli...ng under a fence, etc. This was a life-skills workshop in real-life - where the children came face to face with fear, anxieties and other inhibitions, but overcome them through the above activities thereby developing courage, and boldness. At the end of the camp all the children enjoyed without fear and we observed some changes by participating in this activities. Guru Freddy’s instructors instructed very well & carefully all the activities and food also good.

All life we strive to do for ourselves, at the end, the one which leaves imprint is…............what did we do for others.
Because, doing so.. We stand to be different and will be peaceful in life.
I love spirituality and helping for children's and physically challenged people who are in need .
As soon as the company announced that we are starting up element14 CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) team, I was very happy and interested to be a volunteer to this club.
Being a member of CSR team , I am very pleased to say that it is my personal responsibility to do some kind of service to the needy , for which we have got a good platform to service though element14 INDIA CSR team.
Thanks to the management for starting up such a club and this should be continued .............. Welcome to all volunteers for joining our hands to help the people.

element 14 Corporate Social Responsibility is a group of volunteers from element14 india pvt ltd who have joined their hands to support the underprevileged people who are in need of us.
element 14 Corporate Social Responsibility started on Wednesday, 21st July 2010.
Its not about money at all, its about desire to make a difference to the world. We are driving this CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) as PSR (Personal Social Responsibly).
Responsibility is creating liability, conscientious dependability and trustworthiness.
“Ask not what this society and man kind is given to you, ask what have you given it in return"
All life we strive to do for ourselves, at the end… the one which leaves imprint is… what did we do for others.
Because, doing so.. you stand to be different.
We have formed CSR clubs which would comprise of periodical, ongoing and one-day programs which would cater to different services.
element 14 India CSR club is recognised with name "SANKALPA"
India CSR would be recognised by name 'Sankalpa', under which we have three primary divisions
a) Sanjivini - One day programs
b) Prerana - Periodical programs
c) Chetana - On going programs
Our work has to mean more than just helping ourselves, team, country, region- reaching out to the broader community which shows the impact!
